An Example of Conflict of Interest Issues at CIRM

The $47 million training program extension now being debated by the directors of the California represents a good example of the conflicts built into the California stem cell agency.

The board has 29 members. Twenty are barred from participating in the debate or voting  because of conflicts of interest. Here is a list of the institutions that stand to receive funding under the extension. Sphere: Related Content
