Directors of the California stem cell agency this evening approved an award of up to $20 million to
Capricor, Inc., of Los Angeles, rejecting a negative decision on the application by agency reviewers.
Approval of the
application came
after a re-review triggered by Capricor's appeal in July. The governing board also declined to impose a staff-recommended condition dealing with the patient cohort.
